ANZAC Day 2023 across Murray

I honoured the memory of my grandfather Geordie Groat who served in the 23rd Battalion, Australian Infantry during the great war, all who have served in conflicts that followed and those who continue in service defending our liberty and values.

As we assemble today across our vast country to remember and commemorate this solemn day of reflection, the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) will conduct aircraft flypasts around Australia throughout the day in tribute to our armed forces.

It will be a powerful recognition of those who served in the great war and the wars that followed, those who have fallen, those who have survived and all their families.

To all who paid the ultimate price for freedom and our values and those who continue to do so, we will remember, and we will continue with our unconditional admiration and support.
