Plibersek must address the devistating cARP Epidemic
Tanya Plibersek’s “just add water” approach to the Murray-Darling Basin is nothing short of child-like. Instead of addressing real threats like invasive carp that destroy water quality and habitats, billions are wasted on ineffective water recovery schemes. There are over 145 carp for each person amongst the 2.4 million people who live along the Murray River system, that destroy our water ways, yet Tanya Plibersek has not proposed a solution. This isn’t leadership—it’s negligence. Our communities deserve a water minister who puts their interests first and takes meaningful action to solve the Basin's growing crises. Let’s demand better for our rivers and future.
